Geothermal probes manufactured from cross-linked polyethylene (PE-X) provide optimal protection against point loads, slow crack propagation and external damage.
FRANK GET-X geothermal probes are produced using the proven FRANK SurePEX pipes made of peroxide cross-linked polyethylene, combined with a factory-welded probe base. During production of the SurePEX pipes using the Engel process, cross-linking of the molecular chains occurs directly during extrusion under pressures exceeding 2,000 bar. This homogeneous cross-linking structure ensures a high level of resistance to stress cracking.
The GET-X geothermal probe is ideally suited for applications in heat storage systems as well as in combination with solar thermal energy systems.
