Where we come from

Founded in 1898 by Mr. Chemain and continued by the Boisserand family since 1914, the company initially specialized in engravings for printing on paper, watermarking processes and the marking of synoptic tables. In its constant search for ever better processes and materials, RANDEX also discovered the advantages of new types of plastics and quickly recognised their potential.

With great zeal and creativity, they set to work. As early as 1956 - shortly after the commissioning of a new injection moulding machine - the first successes of innovative plastic valves for washing machines were celebrated. Other innovations followed, such as the first PVDF valves produced in France by injection moulding or the RANDEX monoblock ball valves.

This was the beginning of our current core business : the development and production of high-quality special valves and special plastic moulded parts. Since then, RANDEX products have proven themselves worldwide, for example in the industrial and marine sectors.

In order to meet our high quality requirements, we can rely on our dedicated team and the know-how of more than 120 years of experience.

From the idea, to tool and machine construction, to production, we carry out all processes in our main plant in Voiron. In order to further expand our product range and service, we have had a strong partner at our side since 2019 : the family-owned company FRANK GmbH (www.frank-gmbh.de), one of the market leaders for high-quality plastic pipe systems in Europe.
