FRANK FTW® systems made of durable and environmentally friendly PE (polyethylene) enable the collection of spring water and the safe storage of drinking water. For production, we always use the best and most suitable PE materials, such as DVGW-approved and KTW-tested PE compounds.
With the adaptable and configurable FTW® modules – manufactured using the spiral wound pipe process – we realize, for example, tubular reservoirs up to DN 3500. As a result, our customers have already successfully commissioned FRANK drinking water reservoirs with a storage capacity of more than 800 m³ (equivalent to 800,000 liters).
Thanks to the modular design of the system tanks, our FTW® systems for drinking water abstraction and storage can be adapted according to customer requirements. The factory-preassembled modules and components facilitate handling on site due to their low weight and enable short installation times.
Another advantage of FTW drinking water reservoirs made of PE lies in their smooth and low-encrustation surface. This extends the intervals between cleaning operations and reduces costs due to less extensive cleaning work.
In summary, FTW® structures can be constructed economically and operated with low maintenance requirements. After a service life designed for 100 years, the FTW components can be recycled in an environmentally responsible manner.
In addition to drinking water storage, our PE tubular reservoirs also enable the storage of firefighting water.
Alternatively, for both new construction and the refurbishment of concrete storage structures, we offer our durable PE lining systems HydroClick® and AGRUSAFE®.
Excerpt from the hr television report:*
How can a municipality respond to groundwater stress and increasingly long dry periods?
The municipality of Schmitten in the Taunus region relies on an innovative solution: the FTW® drinking water reservoir from FRANK. The report on this project has already been broadcast on hr television – providing direct insights into our exciting project on site.
A smart response to the challenges surrounding water scarcity and security of supply.
FRANK supplies not only the product but also the technical know-how – for a future-proof and demand-oriented drinking water supply in times of climate change.
